HEALTHY STAR GEL is a pathogen-inhibiting wound gel for the lasting care of acute and chronic wounds, inflammations, eczema and much more. Helps especially against thrush as well as wounds caused by bites or hoof kicks. Hardens to form a protective film.
HEALTHY STAR GEL is a wound gel, which is used directly in acute wounds for treatment, as well as for subsiding, more severe injuries. It acts acutely against infections and forms a biomimetic protective film modeled on nature. Bleeding is inhibited, the penetration of further pathogens from the outside is prevented and the self-healing process is stimulated. HEALTHY STAR GEL treated wounds heal up to 50% faster than it is the case with treatment with conventional means.
Furthermore, HEALTHY STAR GEL is effective in acute and chronic inflammations and especially in eczema, dermatitis, abscesses, fungal infections (especially yeast infections), sunburn, rain scald (wet rash, also called dermatophilosis, tufailosis, Rain Rot or Streptothricosis), insect and parasite bites, Ringworm (dermatophytosis), Sweet Itch, Summer Sores, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Staphylococcal skin infections and Streptococcal skin infections.
Like many other DOCTR®pet care products, the HEALTHY STAR GEL is based purely on chitosan biopolymer. It is free from ionic surfactants, silicones, quaternary compounds, preservatives and fragrances. HEALTHY STAR GEL provides your four-legged friend with the most natural care possible - in a purely biomimetic way, modeled on nature.
HEALTHY STAR GEL is hypoallergenic and hypoirritant.
The chitosan biopolymer complex it contains also has a pH-adaptive effect and thus adapts HEALTHY STAR GEL to the individual pH environment of each horse's skin in order to provide the gentlest possible care. The additional absence of ionic surfactants, silicones, quats and preservatives means that the animal can be cared for completely without irritation. The HEALTHY STAR GEL is also mucous membrane-compatible and food-safe. This eliminates the risk of it getting on mucous membranes or being licked by another animal. HEALTHY STAR GEL is also odorless so as not to irritate the animal's highly developed and sensitive olfactory cells.
HEALTHY STAR GEL also repels insects and parasites. It therefore prevents secondary infections and unnecessary irritation at the wound site.
Application
Gently clean open or already closed wounds with ANTIDIRT PUR using a clean cloth. For this purpose, apply the foam richly on the cloth and then rub it on the wound.
Then apply a generous amount of HEALTHY STAR GEL to a cleaned/disinfected fingertip and gently apply to the wound until a drying film is formed, covering the wound and inhibiting bleeding at the same time.
Proceed in the same way on inflamed areas or irritated, diseased skin sections.
After the injury has subsided, any gel residues can be removed. To do this, remove hardened gel residues by rubbing with warm water using a cloth / rag. Then apply a generous amount of ANTIDIRT PUR to the cloth / rag (1 - 2 strokes) and rub it into the area with the gel residues. The gel now swells and can be easily wiped off.
