HEALTHY STAR GEL is a wound gel used directly on acute wounds as well as on more serious injuries that are healing. It provides immediate protection against infections and forms a biomimetic, nature-inspired protective film. It inhibits bleeding, prevents the penetration of further pathogens, and stimulates the body's natural healing process. Wounds treated with HEALTHY STAR GEL heal up to 50% faster than those treated with conventional methods.
HEALTHY STAR GEL is also effective in treating acute and chronic inflammations, and in particular atopic skin (inflammatory, allergic skin), calcinosis cutis (caching syndrome / inflamed skin calcification), dermatitis (inflamed skin), pemphigus (inflammatory and sometimes bloody claw growth as a result of an autoimmune reaction), demodicosis (parasitic hair follicle disease), pruritus (itching), dermatophytoses (fungal irritations and inflammations of the skin), pyoderma (bacterial irritations and inflammations of the skin), and sebaceous adenitis (keratinization and inflammation of the skin as a result of sebaceous gland damage due to an autoimmune reaction).

 

Application

Gently clean open or closed wounds with ANTIDIRT PUR using a clean cloth. Apply the foam liberally to the cloth and then rub it onto the wound.
Then apply a generous amount of HEALTHY STAR GEL to a clean/disinfected fingertip and gently apply it to the wound until a drying film forms, covering the wound and simultaneously inhibiting bleeding.
Proceed in the same way with inflamed areas or irritated, diseased skin sections.
Once the injury has healed, any remaining gel can be removed. To loosen hardened gel residue, gently rub it with a cloth or sponge using warm water. Then, apply a generous amount of ANTIDIRT PUR (1-2 pumps) to the cloth or sponge and rub it into the area where the gel residue is. The gel will then swell and can be easily wiped away.

No, it shouldn't even be washed off. The biomimetic protective film created by the HEALTHY STAR GEL is important for the wound. It helps stimulate wound healing and inhibits the penetration of germs and pathogens.

How often should HEALTHY STAR GEL be used?

After initial application to open wounds, HEALTHY STAR GEL should be left on the wound until it is visibly healed. The gel can then be removed without negatively affecting the healing process. HEALTHY STAR GEL should be applied thickly initially.
For closed wounds, HEALTHY STAR GEL should be applied once daily in a thin layer.

How long is the application time for HEALTHY STAR GEL?

While HEALTHY STAR GEL is rubbed into the affected area, a protective film forms. Once this film has dried, the application time is complete, the protective film is stable, and the dog can move freely again. HEALTHY STAR GEL remains effective as long as it is applied.
