Conditions of Participation and Data Protection for Competitions of Apollo Dion GmbH

1) Competition organizer & contact


1.1 Organizer of the competitions on the following pages

  2. Instagram pages
  3. Facebook pages

is Apollo Dion GmbH, Tränkestraße 9b, 70597 Stuttgart, Germany (hereinafter “Organizer”).

1.2 The organizer can be reached at info(at)apollo-dion.de.

2) Eligibility & Conditions of Participation

2.1 All natural persons aged 16 or over are eligible to participate.

2.2 Employees, authorized representatives, legal successors and agents (i) of the organizer and (ii) of the natural or legal persons involved in the event and the conduct of a competition (e.g. advertising agencies) are excluded from participating in this competition. The same applies to their respective family and household members.


2.3 Participation in a competition is free of charge.

2.4 Participation in a competition is only possible within the respective participation period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.


2.5 Only one submitted registration per participant can take part in a competition. It is expressly forbidden to use multiple email addresses or multiple profiles on a social media platform (e.g. Instagram) to increase the chances of winning within a competition. The organizer can exclude participants with multiple registrations from the competition without further information or justification.

2.6 If a competition is linked to a task, the correct completion of the task is a prerequisite for participation in the competition. Participants whose entries do not correctly fulfill the task can be excluded from the competition by the organizer without further information or justification.

2.7 Contributions to a competition, in particular texts (factual statements, comments, etc.) and audiovisual content (images, music, etc.) must not contain any offensive or untrue content or infringe copyright or trademark rights. The organizer reserves the right, without further information or justification, to (i) delete such contributions and (ii) exclude the participant from the competition.

2.8 Participants in a competition are liable for their own entries.

2.9 The terms and conditions of the social media platforms in their current version also apply.


3) Determination and announcement of the winner(s)

3.1 The winner(s) will be determined after the closing date of a competition, unless otherwise stated in the competition announcement, using a random generator among all participants eligible to participate according to section 2).

3.2 The winner(s) will be announced (i) by individual email to each of the winners (competitions on websites where email is known) or (ii) by individual contact via the winner(s) account(s) on a social media platform, which winners must respond to within 3 working days via a direct message stating their full name (competitions on social media platforms). Without a correct and timely response in accordance with (ii), the right to a prize will expire and a new winner will be determined using the same procedure.


4) Prize handover

4.1 The prizes offered in a competition will be sent to the winner(s) by post, delivery service or shipping company at the discretion of the organizer.

4.2 Prizes can only be sent to a postal address in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. The organizer will bear the shipping costs.

4.3 Cash payment of winnings is not possible.

5) Data protection

5.1 The address data required to send prizes will be stored and processed exclusively for this purpose. Participants have the right to information, changes, deletion and revocation with regard to their data. Storage and/or forwarding for advertising purposes will expressly not take place.

5.2 The organizer’s data protection declaration in its current version applies.


6) Disturbances

6.1 The organizer reserves the right to change, adapt or prematurely terminate any competition if, in its opinion, circumstances exist that make this necessary.

6.2 Misuse or manipulation of a competition is expressly prohibited.

6.3 The organizer is not liable for technical problems during a competition, in particular during the registration process or when notifying the winner(s).

7) Severability Clause

7.1 Should any provision of these competition terms and conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these competition terms and conditions.

7.2 In the case referred to in paragraph (1), the invalid provision shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision which economically comes closest to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision.

7.3 The same applies if there is a gap in these competition terms and conditions.
